Iraq decides to set up committees to retrieve his money abroad

Baghdad, November 27 (Rn) - The parliamentary Finance Committee, Sunday, the formation of a number of committees will soon undertake the task of recovery of Iraqi funds in a number of States after the ratification of the retrieval of Iraqi funds abroad by the House of Representatives.
And decided to U.S. President Barack Obama in the May / May this year to extend the protection of Iraqi funds in the United States for another year.
Said committee member Ibrahim al-Mutlaq, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), "The Finance Committee completed its observations on the law of recovery of Iraqi funds from abroad, who was referred from the Council of Ministers earlier," noting that "the law will be next week on the agenda of the House of Representatives."
Mutlaq said that "the law in the event of legislation will contribute to the restoration of Iraqi funds abroad, whether booked international resolutions, or it's back to the former regime."
"It will be the formation of specialized committees shall visit the countries that prove the existence of Iraqi money that has to be retrieved."
Iraq says he has evidence to prove that money back to the previous system was converted to a number of aliases such as the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.
The UN Security Council voted unanimously in mid-January last three resolutions concerning the lifting of the embargo imposed on Iraq on the import of nuclear material for peaceful purposes, and cancel the oil for food program, and extended the immunity of and for the last phase compensation imposed under Chapter VII until the end of June / June.
The former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein ordered the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, the impact of sanctions imposed on Iraq from the international community and put under Chapter VII, which makes him the country threatens international peace and security.
Included international sanctions prevented the import of chemicals and nuclear technology that could be used in the programs of secret nuclear, chemical and biological weapons.
Has allowed the United Nations in 1995 for Iraq to sell oil in return for food, called the program "Oil for lunch."
