President discusses with Karim Laibi ways to develop the oil sector in the country

Baghdad (news) .. Search by President Jalal Talabani, on Monday evening in Baghdad, with Oil Minister Abdul Karim Laibi ways to develop the oil sector in the country and benefit from their resources vital in the reconstruction and advancement of Baabannah infrastructure.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received the Agency (news) copy of it: that the two sides discussed ways to develop the oil sector in the country and benefit from their resources vital in the reconstruction and advancement of Baabannah infrastructure.
The Chairman commended the efforts and the Ministry's policy for the development of industry and oil production, saying: that oil and gas are the property of the Iraqi people and that this oil wealth was under the former regime a curse for the people of Iraq, where oil revenues were paid to the suppression and killing of Iraqis, noting that it is required in the new Iraq is to become of this wealth a blessing to the people, so it must be a plan and a wise policy and modern exploitation of this wealth in order to the benefit of all our people.
Talabani said the importance of the ratification of the draft law of oil and gas in the House of Representatives.
For his part, Minister of Oil, a brief explanation about the work of the ministry and contracts with international companies in the areas of investment and exploration and field development in different regions of the country.
