Press Office News: November 29, 2011 Deputy President of the Republic Dr. Khudair Khuzaie that the relationship between the United States and Iraq is turning a new military cooperation to cooperation in the field of education, investment and health. The sovereignty, during a meeting in his office in Baghdad, Tuesday 11/29/2011, U.S. Ambassador James Jeffrey, U.S. commander Gen. Lloyd Austin, in Iraq, "The launch of a label on the fulfillment of the day when U.S. forces completed their withdrawal from Iraq and the implications of positive messages indicate to us that our partners believe in the application of the terms of the agreement signed us and we hope the application of other provisions of this Agreement for the benefit of the Iraqi people and deepen the privileged relationship with the American people. " For his part, said the U.S. ambassador that "the U.S. government is interested in the success of the political process in Iraq, and we will support the Iraqi government by all as we can because it is a legitimate government and democracy must respect the sovereignty and we are keen not to interfere in its internal affairs. " During the meeting, they discussed many of the files, notably activation of the strategic framework agreement signed between the Iraqi government and the United States in the field of training and equipping Iraqi forces.
