Wassit province endorses 2012 reconstruction budget

WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Wassit's Provincial Council endorsed today 2012 reconstruction budget with the amount of 216 billion Iraqi dinars (less than 200 million dollars), according to province media director.
Sundus al-Dhahabi told Aswat al-Iraq that this amount shall be distributed on 17 administrative units in the province according to population density.
She added that the Council formed a delegation to visit the Iraqi Parliament and the Cabinet to discuss the hindrances facing the delayed ministerial projects in the province.
Kut, center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east the capital, Baghdad.
