Deputy: Iraq needs to protect its airspace because it has no means of air defense

A member of the House of Representatives from a coalition of state law within the WIN National Alliance MP Hussein al-Asadi, said the government will resort to the contract of hire, not a security agreement based on the survival of U.S. forces.
The deputy al-Asadi's PUKmedia On Thursday, said he believed the need for Iraq to protect the air space, because it does not have the means of air defense and aircraft, and has not sufficient capacity to defend its borders, and therefore needs to be a force for the purpose to help him.
Attorney Asadi said that the forces responsible for protecting the atmosphere will be subject to the command of the Iraqi leadership and its disposal and would like the security companies.
The sources said an official readiness of Iraqi forces to manage the security file after the U.S. withdrawal end of the year according to the agreement concluded between Baghdad and Washington in 2008 to withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq no later than December 31 in 2011 to move to a new stage and within the strategic framework agreement, which aims to support the United States to Iraq in the areas of security, economic and cultural rights.
