Chalabi: Iraq will be safer after the departure of U.S. forces
Palm - The leader of Hezbollah, "the Iraqi National Congress" and leader of the National Alliance, Dr. Ahmad Chalabi, Iraq will be safer after the departure of U.S. forces at the end of the year.
He said Chalabi told Associated Press that U.S. forces presented themselves as targets, and it was easy to rally people to fight them as occupation forces, he said.
Chalabi has ruled out the return of sectarian bloodshed to the country, stressing the need to resolve differences between the political forces, away from the care that was provided to them by the United States.
