The source added: There are other lists of important names that will be arrested soon, stressing that no party will affect the anti-corruption course that is supervised by the prime minister.
The news published by Iraqi and Iraqi media sources claimed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi had completed a deal with the political blocs to arrest government officials involved in the theft and smuggling of funds estimated at $150 billion from the state treasury.
At the end of last August, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi formed a permanent committee to investigate corruption cases and operations, while monitoring sources say that the government is more ready to confront the corrupt and overcome the stalled reactions by parties covering the corrupt.
Earlier, Al-Kazemi vowed to pursue all the corrupt in order to achieve reforms, stressing that in 2021 his government will reveal major facts about corruption.
