President Barzani meets Gen. Austin the current situation of the Kurdistan Region

Met with Mr. Massoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region on Monday, 05/12, in the resort of Salahuddin, General Lloyd Austin, commander of U.S. forces in Iraq and the delegation accompanying him.
In a meeting attended by Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Minister of Peshmerga and Karim Sinjari, interior minister and the first team Omar Othman and a number of military officials, the two sides discussed the developments of events in Iraq and Kurdistan and the relations between the two sides and ways of strengthening them in the next phase.
It also highlighted the two sides highlighted the recent events in the region of Zakho and Dohuk, and in this regard, stressed the general commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, General Austin, said these events were the subject of our concern and regret, and did not expect what happened to the Christian minorities and Aloyazdih in a region known for Sisterhood and fraternal coexistence between its components, valuing the the same time the position of President Barzani in dealing with these events wisely and patiently and deliberately.
