Oman, Iraq seek to boost trade

MUSCAT — Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb, Under-Secretary of the Commerce and Industry Ministry, received here yesterday Dr Fadhil Nabi Othman, Under-Secretary of the Iraqi Finance Ministry and acting Head of the Iraqi side in the Omani-Iraqi Joint Committee, and his delegation. They discussed joint trade between the two countries, means of enhancing them and raising the volume of trade exchange. Al Dheeb welcomed the idea of holding a seminar here during the 1st quarter of next year to attract investors and businessmen to invest in Iraq. — ONA
