Al-Sadr: The will of the free people is above all Western and Eastern pressures

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, stressed today, Friday, that the will of the free people is above all Western and Eastern pressures.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet on his Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the will of the free people is above all (Western) external pressures, as well as (Eastern) pressure."
He added, "The will of the people is (a national majority government) and that any external pressures will not deter us from that, and any threats will increase us (determination), (progress) and (determination) towards an authentic, free and fair Iraqi (democracy)."
Al-Sadr continued: "So they should be aware that the strength of (the sect) is from the strength of Iraq and the strength of its sects and races, and that any prejudice to the reputation of the sect and the reputation of the resistance by spreading threats and violence will not work..
