The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq receives the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water

His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Ghaleb Mikhaif, received today, Tuesday, His Excellency the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water, Dr. Walid Fayyad, and his accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the visiting delegation was welcomed, as the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq affirmed his keenness to develop bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Beirut, as well as banking mechanisms to pay the Lebanese side's obligations regarding Iraq's dues from the agreement to export the fuel oil product to it.
