Baghdad / NINA / - The Ministry of Oil announced, today, Tuesday, the

preparation of plans to develop the national pipeline network, noting the

endeavor to secure fuel for consumers, electric power production plants and vital sectors.

The Ministry of Oil said in a statement:

"The Undersecretary for Distribution and Liquidation Affairs Hamid Younis Al-Zobaie chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi Oil Pipelines Company (30), indicating that

during the meeting, the agenda for preparing plans and studies for the development of the long-distance pipeline network in the country and the problems was discussed. Obstacles and challenges facing work to provide effective solutions to them.  Al-Zobaie stressed,

"The ministry's keenness to develop and modernize the national pipeline network and the infrastructure of the oil sector,

    due to its importance in enhancing and sustaining storage capacities and to

    achieve high flow in the mechanisms and processes of pumping and distributing oil and its derivatives through its specified paths."

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Oil announced plans to develop the national pipeline network, while referring to efforts to secure fuel for consumers, electric power production plants and vital sectors.

The Ministry of Oil said in a statement received (Al-Oula News), that

“the Undersecretary for Distribution and Liquidation Affairs Hamid Younis Al-Zoba’i chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi Oil Pipelines Company (30), noting that

“during the meeting, the agenda for developing plans and studies for developing a network was discussed.” The long-distance pipelines in the country and the problems, obstacles and challenges facing the work to provide effective solutions to them.

The Undersecretary for Distribution and Liquidation Affairs Hamid Younis Al-Zawba’i stressed the ministry’s keenness to

    develop and modernize the national pipeline network and infrastructure for the oil sector, due to its importance in

    enhancing and sustaining storage capacities and to

    achieve high flow in the mechanisms and operations of pumping and distributing oil and its derivatives through its specified paths.

He stressed

"the importance of the promising plans for the oil pipelines sector to sustain production, liquidation and feeding other sectors with crude oil or petroleum products,"

praising "the national experiences that the company possesses in developing the infrastructure of the oil pipelines network and warehouses, and moving forward in improving the reality of its work and implementing the tasks entrusted to it to support the economy." national and service sector.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director-General in charge of managing the company, Majed Abdel Reda, said,

“The national staff is working, according to pre-prepared plans, to
    develop pipeline networks,
    rehabilitate those affected by them,
    lay new pipes, and
    increase storage capacities in their warehouses spread throughout the country to
    secure fuel for consumers, electric power production stations and vital sectors, in order to serve the good. general.”
