The Parliamentary Finance Committee ruled out, today, Thursday, the new government's resort to returning the dollar exchange rate to its previous era.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said, in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that
“returning the dollar’s exchange rate to its previous position is within the authority of the executive authority exclusively (the government), and
we do not believe that there is any direction for the new government to change the exchange rate, and
this is what was confirmed by more than one party. specialist during the last period. He added,
"Changing the price of the dollar from time to time has significant repercussions on the local market and the economic situation in a way.
That is why we do not believe there is any direction to return the dollar exchange rate to its previous position, even by the new government during the next stage."
