Kirkuk electric stations provide 500 MW and officials call for the rationalization of

Kirkuk, 10 December / December (Rn) - The Department of Electricity Distribution province of Kirkuk on Saturday, that the currently available electric power reached 500 MW, indicating that 250 MW from the national grid and the likes of which the investor Kurdish.
The Kirkuk province has signed a contract for five years with the Ministry of Electricity of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq for processing of 200 MW, with the price of ampere per 6.5 cents to be paid from the budget of petrodollars for the government, in the hope that it can therefore provide citizens with electric power over 20 hours a day.

And announced that the Directorate of Electricity Distribution Kirkuk province 255 km north of Baghdad, earlier for a major campaign to rationalize and reduce electricity consumption after the deterioration of the reality of electricity in the province, indicating that the rate of processing power in Kirkuk fell to 14 hours a day.
"The areas that had been withdrawn there electricity in the summer 150 amp, but now we find that the ratio increased to more than 300 mA in most areas of Kirkuk."
The director of Kirkuk, the distribution of electricity Yaljehin Ali has warned of the deteriorating conditions of processing power, if it continued use without programming and without citizens' awareness of the importance of rationalization.
Kirkuk province announced last Friday for the opening of a modern power plant of origin in the German village of Darman on the road with Arbil.
