"Iraq's gate" BAGHDAD - The leader of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, on Monday, expressed support for the initiative of President Jalal Talabani together leading political blocs in the new meeting, while expressing hope that the visit of Maliki to Washington to strengthen Iraq's status and solve problems.
He said the Iraqi leader Ayad Allawi during a meeting, today, in the province of Kirkuk with the deputy governor Rakan Said Jubouri presence of a number of media, said that "Iraqi List, welcomes the initiative of President Jalal Talabani, the collection of the political blocs to coincide with the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country," and expressed the hope that "the success of the initiative to write, especially since Talabani promised to establish the meeting next week."
On the other hand, said Allawi, the hope that "invests the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the United States and his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama to achieve the best for Iraq and strengthen its position and contribute to solving problems," pointing out that "there are common issues between the two countries of interest to Iraq, as of interest to America ".
