Allawi calls on the Government to strengthen the role of the UN

{Baghdad} Euphrates News called the Iraqi List, the Iraqi government to intensify the UN's role in Iraq through its various programs after the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq by the end of this month.
The adviser said the Iraqi List, Hani Ashour said in a statement received by {Euphrates News} a copy of it on Wednesday that "Iraq still needs the expertise of UN programs in the areas of economy, health, environment, agriculture, education, reconstruction and human rights to ensure the reconstruction of Iraq better and ensure the stability of Iraq instead of increase the U.S. presence under different headings. "
Ashour added that "the experience of the past eight years have proven that the UN role in Iraq was much better than the U.S. role since the start of development of American advisers in the ministries after 2003 until the withdrawal of U.S. forces."
He pointed out that "the development of the strategic framework agreement with the United States will come a lot of services to the Iraqis on the opposite expansion of UN programs."
He said, "increase the number of Americans in Iraq would allow third parties to keep the intervention in Iraq under the pretext that the U.S. presence at large, as would make the government hostage to U.S. desires and wills without the benefit of the Iraqi people significantly." Ended. M
