The Minister of Commerce directs measures to be taken to preserve food storage

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, directed that the necessary measures be taken to maintain the safety of food storage, while indicating the existence of a good storage of food basket materials.
The Ministry stated in a statement that Al-Ghurairi visited the general center of the General Company for Foodstuff Trade yesterday, and met with the general administration to supervise food storage and the emergency plan to secure storage capacity sufficient to accommodate the new quantities of food basket items. She added,
“During the visit, the minister discussed ways to enhance the company’s work in line with the government program that aims to achieve results that serve the public good, in addition to following up on the cutting and preparation operations for the seventh meal of the food basket.” Al-Ghurairi pointed out, during the visit, that
“the Ministry has a good stock of food basket materials and
we are continuing to provide new quantities in anticipation of the emergency conditions that the region is going through,” directing “the general management of the company to take the necessary measures to preserve the safety of the stock from any emergency situation, which represents its strength.” “Citizen.”
