Fight against organized crime announces arrest of al-Qaeda leader in southern Baghdad

"Portal Iraq," Baghdad - Alent Department against Organized Crime, Sunday, the arrest of al-Qaeda leader responsible for car bombings, killings and displacement of citizens in southern Baghdad.
The director, Maj. Gen. Abdul-Hussein al-Amiri, "The force of his district has been able, today, the arrest of Khalid Yassin called on the ball, a leader in the Islamic State of Iraq's al-Qaeda in a raid area of Mahmudiya, south of the capital Baghdad."
And Ameri added that "the detainee is responsible for the operations of car bombings, killing and displacement of citizens in Mahmudiya," stressing that "is currently under investigation."
Baghdad has seen, today, wounding four civilians when a roadside bomb targeted a funeral Hosseini student in the north-east of Baghdad, while the security forces imposed a ban on vehicles roaming in the district of Abu Ghraib west of Baghdad until further notice, to secure high-level visit by a delegation of the government.
The capital Baghdad and other provinces experiencing since last March, an escalation of violence that killed hundreds, including a number of officers and government officials, at a time when the country's ongoing disputes between politicians on the names of the ministers who will be the security bags.
