Paris demanding Baghdad resolving outstanding issues with Kuwait

The French government expressed its interest in the great issues of Kuwait - Iraqi state associated with the occupation of Kuwait in 1990, especially the fate of Kuwaiti prisoners and missing persons in Iraq, and restore the Kuwaiti national archives as well as other Kuwaiti property, according to the site KUNA Sunday.
The website quoted the Kuwaiti spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry Bernard Valero during the briefing, call the Baghdad government to "make every possible effort to resolve these issues."
Valero said in response to a question, the Agency is to "encourage and France urges Iraq to follow up the implementation of the demands that have been replicated in the UN Security Council yesterday regarding these issues."
The UN Security Council briefed Thursday on the outstanding issues between Kuwait and Iraq, in addition to extending the mandate of the United Nations Coordinator of the issues Kuwait - Iraqi Gennady Tarasov for a period of six months, despite the objections of Iraq, as recommended by the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon this extension, also urged the Iraq to make more effort to settle the demands of Kuwait.
The spokesman said the French Foreign Ministry Bernard Valero, "We expect Iraq to continue work in this way, we share the UN Security Council in these calls to Iraq."
He pointed out that his country would "pursue the development of relations between Iraq and Kuwait during the past few months, in particular the mutual visits between officials of both countries to Baghdad and Kuwait and the formation of a bilateral commission between the two countries."
I consider the formation of a bilateral committee "important step", urging the use of this committee in order to "make progress on these issues and the outstanding issues in an atmosphere of dialogue and look to the future."
He stressed his country's interest role of the UN Security Council in this case, where this file is linked to a number of sensitive issues, particularly the issue of missing persons.
He said that his country "supports and supports the lifting of UN sanctions on Iraq if the normalization of relations with Kuwait and make it normal relations.
He explained that there are a whole series of measures must be taken on Iraq is the "preconditions" to raise Iraq from Chapter VII.
The official predicted that the French carried out the pre-conditions set out in resolution 1958.
