He referred the Council of Ministers Law Housing Fund to the Council of Representatives for approval after an amendment to include reducing interest rates and the inclusion of citizens of non-staff loans to build residential units. An official source at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in a statement singled out the "morning": that the Council of Ministers approved the Fund Act Housing of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, and being awarded recently to the House of Representatives for approval, explaining that the approval came after the new amendments to it, including the interest of citizens and help them to speed up the construction of housing units and to contribute in addressing the housing crisis in the country.
He added that the new amendments made to the law cutting interest rate of 6 percent to 2 percent, in addition to expanding segment of beneficiaries of IFAD's loans through the inclusion of citizens provided to ensure that two staff members, in addition to granting the loan, even if a piece of land which will be held by the housing unit rumored.
The source indicated that he was referred Fund Act housing to the House of Representatives and pending approval in order to direct lending to people by 30 million to build housing units in Baghdad and 25 million dinars in the provinces and 20 million dinars in the province and district.
He stressed that the Housing Fund Simay after the ratification of its law to the lending institutions of the state to facilitate the construction of residential and sold to its employees installments, noting that is causing Housing Fund, Ministry of Finance is up to the House of Representatives, but it is currently linked to the Ministry of Construction and Housing.
