Winner: next year will see a rise in food prices

See a member of the Economic Commission Amer winning that next year will see the price rise in food prices in local markets and major breakthroughs to real estate prices.
The winner, according to the Agency (news) yesterday: The effects that occur in the global markets as a result of the global economic crisis will impact significantly on the domestic markets as a result of Iraq's dependence on import commodities from abroad, any economic impact happening on the outside combined with rising wages of transport and this leads to an increase prices in local markets.
He added that the winner of the international markets during the coming year will see a new crisis in the food which will lead to price increases locally because of the absence of domestic production, which provides the material from which food to local markets and the continuation of Iraq to import food from abroad.
He expected the winner to see the year (2012) leaps unexpected in real estate prices, not higher only, despite the entry of foreign firms to establish investment projects in the country, due to increased demand for real estate by citizens and low supply of it, because real estate prices determined by the issue of supply and demand.
Earlier, most likely real estate expert Ismail Hussain increase of property prices in the coming years to continue in the event of the current state policy in solving the housing crisis in Iraq.
He said Hussain's (Agency news): The policy of the state and the federal government is still unable to cut prices in the process of solving the real estate housing crisis in Iraq due to lack of a clear vision of how to deal with crises that occur in the country.
He pointed out that there are many failures mar the process of construction and reconstruction of the country and the inability to provide the infrastructure that are lacking in most residential areas, thus increasing real estate prices in cities with good services.
