DUHUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish president Masoud Barzani met Duhuk university cadres, reviewing many issues connected with the region and Iraq , and stressing the importance of peaceful co-existence among the components there.
Aswat al-Iraq correspondent in Duhuk said that this is the second visit of Barzani to the province, following the incidents that happened in Zakho at the beginning of this month.
Barzani expressed his "sorrow for what is happening in Iraq ".
At the beginning of this month, tens of people attacked alcohol beverages shops in Duhuk province that led to 30 casualties, in addition to burning two quarters of the Islamic federation in the province by unknown elements.
