Government to prevent the passage of Jordanian trucks to Turkey

government refused to truck traffic of Jordan through its territory to Turkey to be a substitute for the transmission line in Syria.
It quoted a source close to the Iraqi government that "the refusal was for the purpose of supporting the Syrian government, which suffered an economic blockade imposed by the Arab League and Turkey because of the demonstrations that permeated the Syrian cities ".
The sources added that "the government of Jordan has made a formal request last month that turned the line of the transport of goods to Turkey via the territory of Iraq rather than Syria, but the Council of Ministers rejected the request that it will harm senior economist on Syria."
The volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Jordan two billion dollars, and Iraq aims to increase it to four billion dollars.
