BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Legislature of Iraq's National Alliance, Suzan al-Saad, has called on the Iraqi government on Monday to hold
talks with Kuwait, on the level of Prime Ministers of both countries, in order to settle the current suspended dossiers between both states.

"Under the recent developments, caused by the Kuwaiti authorities detention of Iraqi fishermen and their release after 2 days of detention, we
see it necessary to treat problems, instead of allowing them to boost and reach to complicated stages, under the current media escalation
between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti sides," the Legislature from Basra Province said in a statement, copy of which was received by Aswat al-
Iraq news agency.

"Iraq has began to revise promises it had received from the Kuwaiti side to stop violations, especially after the statement of Kuwait's Prime
Minister in a previous occasion of his regret for the incident of Kuwait's detention of Iraqi fishermen, whilst such incident had been repeated
again and can be repeated in the future," Saad said.

She had confirmed "necessity for holding a meeting between the Prime Ministers of both states and to discuss the suspended dossiers,
including that of the fishermen, the Port of Mubarak in Kuwait, the drawing of the joint borders, the pumping of oil through twisted excavation
means and the agreement on forming joint committees to follow up the implementation of previous agreements."
