Predicted for the parliamentary Committee of Experts in charge of choosing a new independent Commission for the elections in Iraq that the seven sub-committees, which began its work to sort the lists of applicants for membership of the Commission will complete the first stage next week.
Said committee member Hanan al that "the seven sub-committees, which began work to sort the lists of applicants to the membership of the Electoral Commission for elections, which began work continuously and reached the advanced steps in the first stage."
She explained Fatlawi that "the first phase includes screening 7 000 Advanced Membership Office, through the application of the conditions approved with the Commission," pointing out that it is expected to be a "day of the 4 and the 5 of the next month as the date for the completion of the first stage of the process."
According to the Law of the Electoral Commission for the current elections, the work will be completed next April. The Electoral Commission of Iraq Independent bodies and track directly the House of Representatives, and the latter chose to current members of the Board of Commissioners in 2007.
