Iraq – Wash, Rinse, Repeat the Lies – Iran

It's a tried and true method of deception by the enemy, Presidential lies. Franklin D. Roosevelt lied to the American people shortly before the attack by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor.
Lyndon B. Johnson deceived the nation about the imaginary Gulf of Tonkin incident and tricked the American people into an the Vietnam War.
George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney manipulated the mass media into believing that Iraq was developing a nuclear bomb. In September 2002 British Prime Minister Tony Blair and President Bush claimed, “I would remind you that when the inspectors first went into Iraq, and were denied – finally denied access, a report came out of the Atomic – the IAEA – that they were six months away from developing a weapon. I don't know what more evidence we need.”
In addition, President Bush said in a speech, “Iraq could decide on any given day to provide a biological or chemical weapon to a terrorist group or individual terrorists.” President Bush said that Iraq had unmanned aircraft that could target the United States. The lies grew when President George Bush when he said in his 2003 State of the Union address that Iraq purchased “yellow-cake” uranium from the African nation of Niger.
