Alleged ministers of Islamic State of Iraq arrested

NINEVE, Jan.2 (AKnews)- Nineveh security arrested today two people who are allegedly the ministers of the so called Islamic State of Iraq, an offshoot of al-Qaeda insurgent organization in Iraq.
Brig. Khaled Abdul-Sattar, spokesman for Nineveh Operations Command, told AKnews that the ministers of finance and media of the insurgent organization were arrested when they tried to enter Badush district, 30 km west of Mosul (Nineveh provincial capital.)
The officials were arrested amid police-gunmen cross-fire which left two policemen wounded.
Late December Nineveh Command announced they have arrested the planning minister of the group.
