Imminent agreement between Baghdad and Tokyo to stimulate investment

forecast of Baghdad and Tokyo next February agreement to promote and protect investments which opens the doors for the participation of dozens of Japanese companies in re-work projects and construction. Announced the charge d'affaires at the Japanese Embassy in Iraq, Kenichiro Mukaúa that "After signing the agreement will bring many Japanese companies to Iraq."
Mukaúa said that "the last session of the Baghdad International Fair witnessed the participation of 11 companies, a Japanese," announcing his country's readiness to support Iraq and to participate in the construction and reconstruction campaign initiated by the Iraqi government, especially in energy projects, oil and health. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki visited Tokyo last November, where he agreed with his Japanese counterpart Yoshihiko Noda to increase cooperation in several areas, in addition to the initial agreement to sign an investment agreement.
