involved the National Investment Commission in a workshop held in the Jordanian capital Amman, the attribution of the United Nations Development to discuss ways of overcoming the main challenges facing the financing of the housing sector in Iraq and find a market rival. A statement by the Information Office of the Commission for Salar Mohammed Amin, Deputy Chairman of the Board and its representative at the workshop, saying that the aim of the workshop is to develop the housing finance market in Iraq
Witnessed extensive discussions on the financing of housing projects for the establishment of housing units and low cost for low-income citizens and the size of the guarantees provided by the banks of the Iraqi civil companies implemented, as well as strengthening the role of government banks and the development of its work to finance housing projects in Iraq. He said according to the statement that the workshop offered similar experiences of developed countries in the implementation of projects of housing units and low cost of Yugoslavia and the Ukraine to benefit from their experience in the investment process of Iraq, adding that the finance companies and private banks play an important role in the financing of large investment projects especially housing, including in those countries .
