Met with Mr. Massoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region, yesterday, Thursday, 5/12/2012, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, former vice president and leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council.
During the meeting both sides exchanged views on the current political situation in Iraq, and ways to address the political crisis and stabilize the country.
The two sides stressed the need for the agreement of all parties, the Iraqi national project and the implementation of political agreements and abide by the constitution and genuine partnership between all the components in the management of the country.
