BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Member of the economy and invest in the House of Representatives Hussein Al-Mura'bi, Sunday, the federal budget bill for 2012 was not given adequate powers to provincial councils which will delay completion of most of the service and construction projects.
Al-Muraabi said in the statement issued by his office, which received Agency (Voices of Iraq) a copy of "The lack of powers given to provincial councils, which suffered much from the central should be expanded in order to keep the idea of the provinces in the country."
He said a member of the National Alliance to "the importance of administrative decentralization, and its effective role in the development of the Iraqi provinces, especially since most of the world, past and present have taken the initiative in solving their problems by giving wide powers to the provinces or territories."
The government decided to provide the federal budget to the House of Representatives this week, after reducing the value to 115 trillion dinars worth of deficit and reasonable.
The draft law on the federal budget for 2012, the former was decided to allocate $ 131 trillion Iraqi dinars (112 billion dollars) in total federal counterbalance an increase of 36% from last year's deficit of $ 20 billion.
