He pointed out that the Basra Investment Commission is working to attract sufficient investment to achieve rapid economic growth, and continues to invest the elements of power which is characterized by preservation as the most important source of energy in the country and a key link between East and West.
For his part, director of the Commission government contracts in the Office of the province of Basra for the inclusion (13) local companies on the blacklist to block deal with them in the implementation of projects in the future.

The Ministry of Planning earlier that the (500) construction company has developed within the blacklisted because of failure to complete projects in Baghdad and other governorates, and reported that a foreign company or local blacklisted by the Ministry based on the recommendation by the government institutions and not on the basis of the measures adopted by the ministry.
