Electoral Commission for elections hold its second scientific

Baghdad (news) .. The Commission shall hold the Electoral Conference Scientific II under the title (information technology in Iraq ... the opportunities and challenges) in a bid to develop their work and develop it and in line with the use of technology, and to open doors for researchers and academics to exchange ideas and visions to reach a format optimal to develop the use of technology in elections.
A statement of the Commission cited, press office and received the Agency (news) a copy of it on Monday: The committee has been formed from a number of officials of the Commission to develop standards for research that will participate in the conference as well as address the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to form a committee to supplement the UNHCR's work in this direction through the supervision and scrutiny of the research will be presented to the Conference.
The statement added that the committee formed for this purpose has set targets for him, which enhance the work of the Commission through the use of modern technology in the elections, from voter registration, candidates, and through the procedures of voting and the end of the process of counting and declaration of results, and this requires the involvement of Iraqi expertise in this area and thus building a strategic permanent between scientific institutions within and outside Iraq, with the Commission, indicating: that of the various axes interested in the electoral process, fairness and transparency.
