Baghdad (AIN) MP, Mohammed Ikbal, of the Iraqiya Slate considered the current files discussed as secondary compared to the current political tensions witnessed.
In a press statement, Ikbal stated on Tuesday “The political conflict among the political blocs will negatively affect the security, economical and social conditions,” noting that “Settling the political crisis and establishing the real national partnership will facilitate the issues of all fields.”
“The political blocs have to conduct dialogues to solve the political crisis which must get the priority because other issues are affected by this crisis,” he added.
He continued to say “The Iraqis are watching and waiting the politicians to do something to achieve their demands,” assuring that “The media conflicts and accusations do not serve the political process and will lead to delay in the governmental performance.”
“The political leaders have to realize that the national conference is the last step to restore confidence of the Iraqis of their political programs. Failure in the national conference will affect all of them,” he concluded.
The political process witnesses complicated between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition when the IS decided to suspend attendance of its MPs to parliament sessions to protest “marginalization and monopolization policies” adopted by the Iraqi government and the accusations against the guards of the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi for being involved in terrorism. /End/
