Source: Barzani will not participate in the national conference, if held in Baghdad

Erbil, January 10 (Rn) - An official source in the office of the presidency of the Kurdistan region, said on Tuesday that the region's president Massoud Barzani will not participate in the national conference to defuse the current crisis, if held in Baghdad.
The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, had earlier called for all political parties to hold a national conference put an end to political disputes and power struggles.
The controversy revolves around the venue of the conference, because the president of the coalition in Iraq, Iyad Allawi, preferably held in the territory of Kurdistan, as he insists on conducting the investigation with the Kurdish al-Hashemi in the courts.
The head of the Presidium of the province Fouad Hussein, told a news conference, "We make every effort to resolve the problems, and despite predictions of failure of the National Conference to be held soon, but we can not prejudge, and should not be pessimistic at this point from now."
He noted that "this conference should be held in a location agreed upon by all parties, and if not everyone agreed to be held in Baghdad, the KRG is ready to host the conference held in Arbil."
In response to a question by the correspondent of the Kurdish news agency (Rn) on the post Barzani at the conference, Hussein said that "if the conference was held in Baghdad, the head of the Kurdistan region will not participate in it."
The coalition in Iraq said in a statement issued earlier, that one of conditions for participation in the national conference is the participation of the Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani, leader of the Sadrist movement and Muqtada al-Sadr in the conference.
And on the relations between the Kurdistan region and the United States, noted that it "formed a special committee to write the agreement existing between America and the Kurdistan region and put them on paper," and expressed the hope that "the Convention to become a common formula."
The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said in an interview with the satellite "Arab" in the earlier, the political parties agreed to hold a national conference in Baghdad.
