Mutalibi renews call on Allawi to apologize to SLC

Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the National Alliance, Satate of Law Coalition, Saad Al Mutalibi, renewed call on Dr. Iyad Allawi, head of the Iraqiya Slate, to apologize to SLC to let bygones be bygones and resume dialogue to implement Erbil agreement.
In a statement to NINA on Thursday, Mutalibi said “Allawi distanced himself and Al Wifaq bloc from the dialogue; he is also endangering himself to be ousted from the parliament.”
“If the blocs insisted on the bylaw; Allawi will be ousted from the parliament, while the door will be opened for the dialogue if he apologized,” Mutalibi added.
Allawi accused, in an address to the Iraqi people, the leader of the Dawa party of “lying, hypocrisy, and fabricating accusations and counting on foreigners to stay in power.”
