Baghdad (AIN) –MP Farhad al-Atroushi of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out that “The blocs would not have red lines during their discussions in order to reach a settlement for the current crisis,” noting that “The posts of Premier, President or the Speaker would not be far from discussions and agreements.”
“Politics is dynamic and does not admit eternal or fixed ideas or posts, so discussions among blocs are open on all options,” he stressed.
“The Iraqiya Slate suggested substituting PM Maliki during discussions with different blocs,” he added, revealing that “Some blocs expressed concerns towards such suggestion since the PM post has been granted for the bloc that acquired majority parliament seats.”
Earlier, the Deputy Premier Salih al-Mutleg has stated that he “does not regret calling PM Maliki as (Dictator), calling the Iraqi National Alliance to replace him.”
The political process witnesses complicated disputes between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition as a result for the arrest warrant issued against the Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi and Premier Maliki’s request to withdraw confidence from his deputy Salih al-Mutleg. /End
