Erdogan and Biden concerned over atmosphere of chaos in Iraq

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US Vice President Joe Biden yesterday discussed on the phone latest developments in Iraq after pullout of US troops last year and expressed their concerns over the atmosphere of chaos in Iraq.
Reportedly, Erdogan said to Biden that if Iraq distances itself from the culture of democracy, efforts previously exerted for peace and stability will be wasted. Sources added that Erdogan and Biden also indicated that authoritarian and sectarian policies will never benefit Iraq and that Turkey and the US consider benefit in holding dialogue and consultations regarding the developments in Iraq.
