Founding conference of the Salahuddin province to announce the start phase of the referendum

Erbil Jan. 13 (PNA) - UN Secretary-General of the Conference of the Constitution of the Salahuddin province, on Thursday, the stage of the referendum started across the province to collect the signatures of thousands of people of Salah al-Din support for the establishment of the region.
The balance of the successful "stage a referendum initiated today actually, to collect the signatures of thousands of people to maintain support for the establishment of Salahuddin province, and we expect it will be within one week of collection of more than one hundred thousand and signature pro-region project."
He said the balance that "the forms have been distributed in all districts and the areas of Salah al-Din did not exclude any area," noting that "the form includes a preamble to support the project, also include personal information such as name triangular number and identity of the Civil Status, and the ration card, and the nascent, and signature."
He added that the balance of "volunteers who distribute and collect questionnaires to be delivered to the Office of the elections in Salah al-Din the end of next week."
The twenty members of the Council of Salahuddin province, which includes 28 members, has voted on 27/10/2011, in favor of the Declaration to maintain separate territories within a unified Iraq, and faced a step strongly opposed by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
