Kurdistan opposition to offer solution to Iraqi and Kurdish issues

ERBIL, Jan. 14 (AKnews) - This week Kurdistan opposition parties will announce a host of proposals for settling the issues in Iraq and its Kurdistan Region.
Yesterday the Gorran [Change] Movement, Kurdistan Islamic Party and Kurdistan Islamic Union met and declared they have drafted some proposals.
Salahaddin Babakir, spokesman for KIU's politburo, told AKnews a joint committee was set up in the meeting. It plans to come up with ideas and proposals that unites the policies of the three opposition groups.
Another meeting will be held this week where the opposition will finalize the proposals and announce them immediately after the session.
He added the proposed solutions will be "scientific" and include proposal for settling the disputed issues between Erbil and Baghdad as well. What Babakir meant by "scientific" has not been made clear by the spokesman.
