BAGHDAD: Head of Ahrar parliamentarian bloc Baha' al-Araji disclosed today that it was agreed to postpone the preparatory meeting of the national conference till next Sunday to hold bilateral relations among political blocs.
He expected that Iraqiya bloc will cancel its decision to boycott parliamentary and cabinet meetings this week.
Araji told Aswat al-Iraq that it was agreed yesterday on the general outlines for the national conference, which will be a road map for the parliament, government and all governmental institutions following theUSforces withdrawal.
He added that the postponement is to give chance for bilateral contacts and consultations among the political blocs in order to have a new agenda for the conference.
The conference is facing difficulties among pro and against elements, with several demands from all main sides.
