Promised Spokesman Baghdad Operations Command Qassim Atta said the team in 2012 will be the lifting of the concrete barriers of the capital Baghdad. Indicating that there is no way in the capital, now closed, although there are some concrete barriers that will be removed soon.
Said Maj. Gen. Atta at a press conference yesterday that "the Baghdad Operations Command has been able during the past two weeks, killing three terrorists and the disruption of 22 explosive devices, and foil 173 process to plant improvised explosive devices, and 4 explosive belts, in addition to dismantling the wheel of a booby-trapped, as well as foil 20 pack adhesive, and control equipment 11 CDs and 848 mortar shells. "
And on changing some of the security leaders, between Atta: The change that happens to some of the leaders and commanders, and is normal practice in the Interior Ministry, so that can not be any leader or commander to stay in office more than two years. He explained that "organized crime began to decline significantly, in light of progress the security file pointing to the existence of a major development in intelligence work."
He continued, "There are great leaders of al Qaeda inside prisons, and we are waiting for permission of the Supreme Judicial Council to record and broadcast the confessions of these important leaders."
