Construction and Housing are looking funded projects from the World Bank

left the Minister of Construction and Housing Mohammed Darraji to Jordan to discuss the project of building a shelter of a permanent Iraqi internally displaced persons and returnees from outside Iraq, and projects funded by the World Bank in the field of roads and bridges and to participate in meetings of the Organization Alhbettat of the United Nations.
Daraji said, according to the Agency (news): The meetings with the Alhbettat aims to take concrete steps to address the housing problem of internally displaced persons and returning home from abroad. He added that the meetings will focus on the development of institutional capacity and legal instruments relevant mechanisms for the implementation of the project.
He pointed out that the visit will include held extensive meetings with representatives of the World Bank on road and bridge projects funded by the World Bank in Iraq, including the project (through Umm Qasr - Zubair broadband) which was referred to the recent implementation of the project in addition to the preparation of a feasibility study for Highway No. "1", which links Baghdad to Turkey, which is one of the important projects, strategy and supplementing the Highway number "2", which runs from Basra to Baghdad. He explained: that the draft Highway No. "1" is largely due to the development of road infrastructure in the country and develop the economic and trade by linking northern Iraq, Iraq's southern ports.
