Committee was formed and the investment in the province of Basra on the first and second paragraph of Article V of the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006, a body with legal personality and related to the Governor of Basra, under the control of the provincial council.
The head of the Khalaf al-Badran told a news briefing Wednesday that "the investment in Basra will hold economic conferences in order to attract foreign investment companies and local communities to see the map of Basra investment and the amount of land available and used to set up projects in a variety of fields."
The Basra Investment Commission is seeking to reach the city to the rank of the best cities in the region in terms of competitive investment environment at the end of 2013 and that by creating a healthy work environment and a society based on knowledge and reliance on specialized areas of development.
