Premier Maliki Confirms “Getting Friends Policy”

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq : Premier Nouri al-Maliki confirmed during his meeting with Arab heads of diplomatic missions that “Iraqi policy is to get friends and developing cooperation relations with all countries the world over”.
In a statement issued by his office, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, he added that “Iraq is passing through a new stage, following US forces withdrawal, and looks for better relations based on cooperation and respect”.
On their side, the Arab ambassadors called “to activate the role of Iraq on the Arab level”, stressing that “will be positively reflected on Arab spheres”
