Maliki: Iraq is heading for a new era in state-building and economic development

Said Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki said Iraq is moving to a new stage in building and developing the economy and strengthen the democratic system and resorting to the Constitution and law to solve all the problems facing it, and strive to establish better relations with the countries of the world on the basis of mutual interests and non-interference, and the activation of agreements and memorandums of cooperation in the all areas and contribute to the process of construction and reconstruction.
This came during a meeting at his office today the official ambassadors of foreign countries working in Iraq.
The Prime Minister said: We are not worried about the problems that happen in Iraq, and we are taking steps to overcome them on the basis of the Constitution, calling friendly states not to interfere in the internal affairs of Iraq only in helping to solve and overcome them and to respect Iraqi sovereignty, for the first time on Iraq, bringing the sound to abide by the constitution which denied to Iraqis over the decades, the Constitution is the Supreme Governor of the Iraqis, regardless of affiliation, the most prominent features of post-dictatorial regime.
The Prime Minister added: We want to be the Constitution is the master of the situation, and we hope that everyone involved in the national conference to agree to resolve our problems to return to the Constitution, reiterated its support for the granting of broad powers to the provinces to be part of the Constitution, in order to contribute to the provinces in the management of its affairs and self-mitigation of the responsibilities of government Federal.
The Prime Minister explained that there is a need to enact laws by the House to move up the powers of the provinces.
He said Prime Minister: We are preparing the problems that face us in the political life in a country becomes a natural system of iron is central to a democratic federal system in which powers are distributed, and needs to be more of the culture and practice of constitutional democracy.
The Prime Minister answered questions from the ambassadors about the internal situation of Iraq and the region is going through.
