Iraq demands of neighboring countries not to interfere in its internal affairs

Irbil - 22 Cannon II - January (PNA): Iraq on Sunday criticized Turkey, Iran and other Arab countries did not identify for trying to "interference" in its internal affairs and lack of respect for sovereignty after the political crisis that began almost a month ago.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website, "Since the beginning of the year and data from senior officials in neighboring countries reflect their attempts to intervene in the internal affairs of Iraq and the lack of respect for Iraqi sovereignty and the government elected by the Iraqi people."
It comes amid tension between Baghdad and Ankara after Iraq accused Turkey of interfering in its internal affairs.
It said the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said that "Iraq will never be a follower of one will not be a pawn in a game or other arena for settling accounts between the other parties."
And she said "so we invite friends, neighbors, particularly Turkey, Iran and some Arab states to respect Iraq's sovereignty and independence."
The statement comes after the Foreign Affairs told the Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani, in which he said that his country is present in Iraq and southern Lebanon, which the Iranian Foreign Ministry to clarify them later.
She said Tehran's statements Soleimani quoted as saying by Iranian news agency "ISNA" saying "Iran is now also present in southern Lebanon and Iraq .. and the way these areas affected by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the performance and thinking."

Criticized Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki last week strongly "Turkish interventions" in the affairs of his country, warning of "the danger of sectarian conflict that could lead to disaster, which Turkey does not recognize itself."
Erdogan had called the leaders of various political blocs and the Iraqi religious to "listen to their conscience" to prevent the sectarian tension that turns in their country to "fraternal conflict."
Erdogan said: "I call the same way as Iraqi officials, and religious leaders and the leaders of Iraqi political parties and the countries that are trying to exert influence in Iraq, to act with a sense of sound and responsible manner. The last thing we wish to see in Iraq is the outbreak of the new fraternal conflict."
In turn, confirmed the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said "the Iraqi people master of itself, which is self-determination and national options, and we reject all harmful statements against the unity and integrity and sovereignty of Iraq and its federal democratic system."
