Baghdad (AIN) –MP Sami al-Askari of the State of Law Coalition described the head of the Iraqiya Slate Ayad Allawi as “creating crises in Iraq.”
MP Askari stated to the All Iraq News Agency (AIN) Monday “Allawi became out of the political equation, rather being an active part of it,” noting that “Who really leads the Iraqiya Slate is the leader within the Slate and the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi since the Slate turned to represent the Sunni Community in Iraq.”
“Allawi became the biggest loser in the political process since the leaders within his slate assumed most of the key posts in the Iraqi State while he does not have a post to turn into an element for creating troubles and crises in Iraq,” Askari stressed.
The political process witnesses complicated disputes that coincided with the US troops' withdrawal especially between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition when the IS decided to suspend attendance of its MPs to parliament sessions to protest “marginalization and monopolization policies adopted by the Iraqi government, as well as issuing an arrest warrant against the leader within the IS and the Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi
