Erbil (AIN) –The Premier of Kurdistan Regional Government Barham Salih met the governor of Anbar province and Ahmed Abu Risha as well as a number of Anbar tribal sheikhs in Erbil province on Monday.
Salih and Anbar delegation discussed the political situation in Iraq as well as current disputes among Iraq blocs, according to the website of the Patriot Union of Kurdistan.
“Anbar delegation appreciated the economic, security and political developments in Kurdistan Region and called to increase cooperation between the Region and Anbar province in administrative sector,” the website mentioned.
“Both sides confirmed that resort to constitution is the best way to settle the current crisis,” the website concluded. /End/
