Shahristani: Iraq is determined to build four new refineries

Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani said the Czech companies have determined for investment and reconstruction in Iraq.
Shahristani said he during the inaugural session of the Iraqi Czech businessmen in Prague hoped to have the Government of the Czech role in providing support and facilitation for the Czech to enter Iraq, and pointed to the jobs available in Iraq, particularly in the projects, petrochemicals and steel.
The al-Shahristani said Iraq was working on the construction of four oil refineries in Nasiriyah, Karbala, Maysan, Kirkuk, and are interested in the rehabilitation of agricultural tractors factory in Alexandria by the Czech company Zior.
The Information Office of the Vice-Shahristani met with the Prime Minister in Prague, Czech Prime Minister Peter Machav and discussed with him ways to strengthen relations in vital areas such as energy and military field. / 4
